Characterized by unconventional materials, found on the streets and shorelines of Milwaukee and beyond, Jonathan enjoys creating eclectic works of art depicting the beauty of wildlife. Inspired by the grit of old materials and cityscapes as well as the rugged aesthetic of nature, his works form an intriguing balance of both environments. Most of the themes interwoven through Jonathan's work focus on resourcefulness, stewardship, and seeing beauty in the overlooked; noticing the sacred in the mundane; finding poetry in each moment.
